Swedish Language Instructor for Business Clients in Ludvika - Face-to-Face (IRL) Teaching

Berlitz Corporation has been operating in Sweden since 1931 and is a world leader in language and communication. We offer an international, professional, and dynamic workplace. We are currently seeking language instructors to deliver high-quality Swedish training for business clients in Ludvika, primarily on-site with the possibility of supplementing with distance learning for other clients in Sweden.

We are looking for someone who:

• Can be available for face-to-face teaching at our client in Ludvika.
• Motivates your students by being creative and dynamic while creating a clear and safe structure in teaching.
• Is present and attentive to each client's needs and learning style.
• Has a good ability to listen and is open to feedback and continuous development.
• Has good collaboration skills and contributes to a positive team spirit with colleagues and administrative staff.
• Is structured and meticulous regarding the administrative part of the role, such as documenting lesson content and providing feedback on students' progress.

You need to have:

• Swedish at a native level, as the teaching is conducted entirely in Swedish.
• At least a bachelor's degree and/or relevant work experience in the corporate world.
• If you are a student, it is not required that you have graduated, but you should have progressed in your studies.

Your tasks

As a Swedish instructor with us, you will teach according to the Berlitz Method® and simultaneously document the student's educational development. You motivate by being creative and dynamic while creating a clear and safe structure in teaching. Within our team, we collaborate closely around our students and their development.

We believe you have another part-time engagement that you want to combine with this assignment.

Mandatory Instructor Training Online

The position is a needs-based employment and is offered after completing and passing the mandatory instructor training online. The training consists of approximately 30 teaching hours and spans a period of about three weeks. It begins with self-study in the form of online modules and is followed by teacher-led virtual sessions in English. The training is not compensated, but we see it as an investment in our future instructors and therefore cover the cost ourselves. Once you have completed the training and started your employment, all further training and workshops are compensated.
